The bmw 3-series is the smallest bmw that you can buy, the engine sizes start from a 1.6 and go up to a 3.2, the 3.2 is actually the m3. On the back of the 3-series you will find a 3 and 2 numbers after it, the 3 stands for 3-series and the other 2 numbers stand for the model (engine size).
